Owner Aly McHugh opened No. 9 Boutique in Barre, Vermont in 2004. Coming from a family of retail merchants, Aly recognized that it was time to open her own boutique, and she’s been having a great time ever since!

In September of 2006, Aly opened her second boutique in Montpelier. Ironically, her capital city location was once home to her grandparents’ department store, and her parents’ children’s store. Her very first job was wrapping gifts during the Christmas season in a corner of her Montpelier store. It was like coming home again.

No. 9 Boutique carries clothing lines including Tribal, Nally and Millie, Desigual, Woolrich, Aventura, Nomadic Trader, Wind River, Global Village, Spanx and more.
